What are they?? Basically, they are independent stand-alone computer programs that run on Widows equipped pc's. They are created with your company branding and install and uninstall like any other computer software. What we do is leverage the same 3D API from Microsoft that modern computer games use to create an interactive virtual world. We provide you with downloadable application or an installation CD branded with your company logo and information which you can distribute as your needs dictate.

Are they games?? Yes and No. The basic operation of the program is similar to a game. You use your mouse and keyboard to navigate through the world like a game. Also, similar to a game, the 3D environment requires a video card that can process the 3D information. The idea is to tour a building or structure as if you were actually there in person.

Do I need a "gaming" computer?? No, most modern computers have a graphics system that can handle basic 3D geometry. If your computer can run Vista or Windows 7, it should run these simulations with no problems. Most Windows XP systems should be fine as well. If the system cannot handle the 3D geometry it will run with a very low frame-rate and appear jerky and slow to respond to the keyboard and mouse movements. If your computer can run games then it will definitely run these simulations, as the video requirements are much less than needed for most games.

What are they used for?? There are many uses for this technology. Real Estate Professionals can show properties that have not been completed or even built. Or show remotely located properties like vacation rentals or retirement homes to potential clients from anywhere in the world. Universities can show dormitories and lecture halls to incoming students and faculty. Property managers can train employees on facility maintenance and emergency procedures. Renovation companies can show clients a preview of a remodeling job and options for design and features. Developers can show projects in an "as built" state to secure capital investment or build-out plans for potential tenets. In short, you can show people exactly what you have or can do, from anywhere.
